Path of Righteousness
Kneeling before each drawing the viewer is asked to confront a prevalent societal ill – greed and income disparity, the sex trade, gambling, the drug trade, the beauty industry, and overpopulation. This series of six drawings is an homage to the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peterborough on the occasion of the sale of their convent. The nuns lived a life of service to the community taking vows of poverty and chastity. Their lives and values are in sharp contrast to the society ills presented in the drawings.
